  1. If your Tool Cooler is not already tapped from the manufacturer, proceed to tap each of the (4) marked holes for securing the water block with an M3x0.5 thread tap. Attach all Tool Docks to CNC Tool Cooler using magnets as locating guides.

    • NOTE: Confirm Tool Cooler rail sits flush against each printed part. If any excess epoxy causes high spots, cooling performance will be significantly reduced.

  2. Loosely install Tool Wiper assembly to each Tool Dock using previously fitted fasteners. Final tightening will be performed during mounting procedure later in assembly.

  3. Remove protective film from the face of the Water Manifold. Apply thermal paste. Fasten Water Manifold to the Tool Cooler rail using appropriate length M3 fasteners.

    • NOTE: These M3 fasteners are not included in the BOM. The mounting of your Water Manifold may differ from what is shown.

  4. Orient the printer as shown. Loosely install Tool Dock Bank assembly to the upper 4040 extrusion using previously fitted fasteners as shown.

    • NOTE: Align the assembly so that the aluminum Tool Cooler rail behind the Water Manifold is close to (but not touching) the nearby XY Motor Assembly.

    • NOTE: Final tightening of these fasteners, along with those that mount the Tool Wiper assemblies to the Tool Dock assemblies will be tightened later in assembly.
